YHYear 8 - 10

by William Shakespeare

Performance

Four students from your school help establish a backdrop of conflict against which Shakespeare sets his tragic drama of the ‘star crossed’ young lovers.

Period costumes feature as we continue to explore the themes of love, hate and prejudice, the part played by circumstance and fortune and the generational conflict between teenagers and their parents. The talented CWTC ensemble shines as the audience meets Juliet’s loveable and outrageous Nurse, Romeo’s confidant Friar Lawrence as well as the fiery Mercutio and Tybalt, the Prince of Cats.

2012 Bookings

A great performance in which the cast had a thorough understanding of the text as a whole. This allowed the students to ask a range of questions to assit them with their SAC.
