In this compelling play the natural world is pitted against the supernatural and ambition conspires with unholy forces to commit evil deeds which generate fear, guilt and a horrible series of crimes.


This dark portrait addresses the major themes of greed, ambition and murder.As Macbeth and Lady Macbeth’s world spirals towards a violent end, we study their responses to the psychological burden of their deeds.

We examine closely the major scenes, themes and characters and invite five of your students to help with the storytelling.
