In this compelling play the natural world is pitted against the supernatural and ambition conspires with unholy forces to commit evil deeds which generate fear, guilt and a horrible series of crimes.

This dark portrait addresses the major themes of greed, ambition and murder. As Macbeth and Lady Macbeth’s world spirals towards a violent end, we study their responses to the psychological burden of their deeds. We closely examine the major scenes, themes and characters and ask the question - what does it take for a man to murder the king?

2012 Bookings

The performance was well reahearsed, moved quickly and kept the students engaged throughout. The plays were judiciously edited to 'fit' in an hour. The Q and A is great.
